If your present installation employs the blue 3/8" outside diameter neoprene water lines that came with the NSA 100S filter, all you will need to do is to cut the existing compression nut off the end of the hose. Use a utility knife or equivalent to get a clean, squared-off cut. The now bare end of the water line would be passed through the hole in the "skirt" of the filter base and the compression fitting attachment made at the fitting.
If, however, other water line was used (copper line, braided/reinforced water line) for your installation, those lines will not pass through the hole in the base skirt. If that is the case, you will need about a 3" piece of the blue neoprene water line that is included with the H2O-MT-US413 -- as illustrated in the photo above.
Included in the hardware is a coupler or union (threaded at both ends) as seen at the left extreme of the neoprene line the photo. This will allow connection of any existing 3/8" compression water line to the filter by moving the line connection outside the base skirt. All hardware items necessary for this adaptation are included.
