The Catfish Anglers Sportsman Society (CASS) was formed concurrently with the first issue of the newsprint version of The Jonboat Journal.  Both ceased to exist as legal entities in their original form with the sale of The Jonboat Journal newsprint magazine to Midwest Outdoors in 1996.

Bylaws for establishing CASS Club Chapters are still available to parties seirously interested in re-forming CASS as an active club organization. Serious inquiries are welcome.  Please click HERE to email your questions and comments.
